| Principal Content : | Basic programming principles in JAVA The object oriented paradigm in JAVA GUI (AWT and Swing) for development of applications and applets mainly by using Jbuilder JAVA in relation with networks. Application level and protocol design by using TCP/IP. Introduction to threads. JAVA in relation to Databases. |

| Teaching method : | Exercises and classroom teaching. The exercises will be about 70% of the study module and consist of working with computers. One larger semester assignment added some of the week assignments are to be handed in. The semester assignment will contain elements like using JAVA in connection with client/server programming and in connection with SQL. | ||
