Objective : To enable the student to construct process equipment for the chemical industry taking account of technical, environmental and economic aspects.
Principal Content : Concentration calculations, mass balances, chemical equilibrium and catalysis, natural gas reforming, fuel cells, combustion, phase equilibrium, distillation, absorption, construction of towers, flue gas cleaning, filtration, reverse osmosis, drying, hazards, other selected subjects.
Teaching method : Class teaching, assignments, homework.
Required prequisites : Basic knowledge of thermodynamics

Remarks : Admission to the examination is on the condition that laboratory exercises and required assignments are completed satisfactory.
