| Objective : | To develope the ability of the students to do independent mechanical design and construction work.
Responsible teachers from those subjects will assist the students in the project. The project mustl be conducted in accordance to "CODES" "DS" for the Danish engineering industry |

| Principal Content : | One or more tasks in design- and construction of mechanical equipment, or perhaps part of a machine, where the main function of the machine is given by the teacher. The solution of the tasks have to contain following: Function - Manufacturing technology - Choice og material - Economics for large or small quantities The subject of the projects can be: Beet drive - Chain drive - Lever arm - Different form of brakes a clutch The different subjects have to be looked at as a whole. The project has to be divided in phases. 1) Brainstorming session 2) Design phase 3) Verification phase, construction drawing, calculation and report as a technical dossier. |
