Objective : Fundamental knowledge within polymers and there manufacture, enough to qualify the students to continue on the plast-courses.

Fundamental knowledge within assembling, welding etc and forming of solid metalls so the student can suggest the nessesary processes, needed to manufacture a given item.
Principal Content : Polymers (thermo- hardening and composites)
Manufactoring methods such as injection moulding, pressing, extruding, blow-forming and rotation moulding.
Welding, soldering and glueing.
Heading warm and cold forming of metalls, ekstruding.
Rolling.
Powder metallurgy (PM)
Teaching method : Class-based teaching, industrial visits, laboratory trails. The latter in small groups.
Required prequisites : MATR and TEK must be read
