| Objective : | The student should be able to apply elementary mathematical rutines and procedures in fomulating, analysis and solving of problems present in different areas of the Export Engineering programme. The aim for the teaching is to improve the student"s understanding of mathematics as a descriptive and modelling tool in physical, technical and economic areas. |

| Principal Content : | Limits and continuity. Differentiation. Maxima and minima of functions. Linear programming. Antiderivative. Integral. Applications of the integral. The natural logarithm and the natural exponential function. |
