Målsætning : | The purpose of Numerical Analysis is the design of techniques for computers for the solution of mathematical problems. Emphasis is placed on understanding why numerical methods work and their limitations. The focus will be on applications within different fields: Economics, Physics, Electronics and Ecosystems. | ||
Hovedindhold : | Introduction to MATLAB. Error Analysis. The solution of Non-linear Equations: f(x)=0. The solution of Linear Systems: AX=B. Numerical Differentiation and Integration. Solution of Differential Equations. | ||
Undervisningsform : | Lectures, classroom exercises, computer based assignments. Group Work. | ||
Krævede forudsætninger : | For Export Engineering students: 1st and 2nd semester and a minimum of 130 ECTS. |
