Principal Content : | Short introduction to welding processes used in industry Weldable structural materials matallurgy - Modern weldable structural steels - Stainless structural steels - Aluminium - Titanium Arc welding - The arc - Welding consumables - Heat distribution - Avoidance of some characteristic welding detrimental phenomena - Hydrogen cracking (cold cracking) - Decreases in toughness in HAZ - Lamellar tearing - Solidification cracking Quality control Fracture mechanics Fatigue Standardisation |
