Objective : The course should make the student able to:
• Use central vocabulary of business strategy correctly
• Explain simple tools and analytical models for analysing internal and external aspect of an organisations strategic position
• Explain simple tools and analytical models for making and prioritise among different strategic options
• Explain basic methods and challenges in strategic implementation
• Apply simple strategic analytical models on given business cases

• Development of strategic capabilities
• Identification of strategic options
• Strategy evaluation
• Introduction to strategic change
• Business cases
Teaching method : Lectures, discussion, group work and presentations in relation to business cases

Remarks : • This course is part of the International Business Semester
• In order to participate in the examination the student must follow the course actively and be present in 80% of the lessons as a minimum. Furthermore the student must deliver all mandatory tasks during the semester.
