Objective : The finished educated engineer shall be able to take actice part in the development and structure of the operations system in a production company.

To give the student the possibility of describing a company, particularly a production company (a production system) and analyzing each element of this and the correlation between these and the company and the surrounding world.
All this is the basis that further work can be done with greater or smaler part of a company seen from a managing and devoloping point of view saving the generel impression.
Principal Content : Descriptionmodels of the company and description criteria, methods- and time studies, organization and coorporation studies, project planning and project management. Forecasting, Master Scheduling, Just-In-Time (TQM, TPM and PI), factory planning and localization.
Teaching method : Lectures, group work and lab exercises.
Required prequisites : None
Recommended prerequisites : ØKO1 and MAT1 passed.

Type of examination : Four hours written examination
External examiner : External
Marking : 7 step scale
Remarks : All aids allowed by the examination.

It is a prerequisite to enter for an examination that exercises are passed.
