Objective : | To provide students with business and technical skills and knowledge of how to align business processes with IT strategy Learning objectives: A student who has fully met the objectives of the course will be able to: - list the most important e-business technologies - describe the changes in an organization due to implementation of new technology - identify opportunities for use of e-business strategies and - outline how to make the implementation on a specific case (typically a specific company) |

Principal Content : | Providing students with insight into the principles of corporate development, entrepreneurship, and innovation in both old and new business. Giving insights into business responsibilities when dealing with customers and the Internet. Providing students with detailed knowledge of new technologies (IT) applicable in an e-business context. |

Teaching method : | Developing the students’ insights into practical business management by using senior managers from public/private enterprises as course lecturers while the students solve practical assignments. | ||
Required prequisites : | For Export Engineering students: First one-and-a-half year and a minimum of 120 ECTS. |

Recommended prerequisites : | For non-Export Engineering students: Familiarity with production, sales and marketing, and economic terms used in companies. |
