Objective : That the students develop an entrepreneurial mindset and obtain knowledge of the different processes involved in launching a venture.

The course aims to develop the students ability to individually and especially in cooperation with others – to work systematically with developing business models and turning them into business opportunities. In this to balance the technical elements with the market potential and structure the process from idea to concept.

Learning goals:
A student, who fulfill the objectives of the course must at the final test be able to:

- Demonstrate a general understanding of how a business works
- Identify and reflect upon entrepreneurial methods and processes
- Synthesize an opportunity into a business plan
Principal Content : Write a business plan, The business model canvas; customers, environment and process, effectual entrepreneurship.
Teaching method : Lectures, guest lectures, workshops, supervision. This course is build round a business plan, which the students are working on during the course.
Type of examination : Look under remarks
External examiner : Internal
Marking : 7 step scale
Remarks : Oral exam, based on business plan.
