Målsætning : Copenhagen University College of Engineering offers this one-year foundation course that bridges the gap between your entry qualifications and the first year in your engineering programme at Copenhagen University College of Engineering.
The foundation course is designed to prepare you for studies at the university level and includes three compulsory subjects: English, Mathematics and Physics. Introduction to project based learning (problem-oriented teaching and project based learning) and Danish culture through educational culture is part of the programme as well.

Physics B equals High School B-level.
Hovedindhold : Electricity, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Waves, Quantum physics, Nuclear physics

For participation in exam the student must:

1: make 7 experiments in lab, write a report for each experiment and obtain acceptance of each report.
4 of the experiments are done during the first semester, 3 during the second semester.
The student can only take part in an experiment if the report of the previous experiment is already written and handed in to the teacher.
2: undertake an interdisciplinary course work in physics and mathematics. This work is done in the second semester and must be presented as a project report.

Reports not accepted at first can be corrected and given in again

The course may be offered as part of an intensive Foundation Course which run during the spring semester.
As part of this arrangement Physics have 10 lectures per week. Please contact Head of Department Jesper Stensbo Knudsen for further information.

There is cumpulsury attendance to all Foundation Courses.
