Objective : The student will gain knowledge to be used in problem solving and project planning in the selected project phases. The student will gain knowledge and will demonstrate the use of project phases. The student will gain competences in working innovatively and to document the process.
The student prepares time schedule, cost estimates and perform cost-benefit assessment. The student who fully meets the objectives of the course is at the final exam capable of:
- Describe and define the selected project topic
- Develop and analyze models of possible solutions
- Justify the choice of solutions
- Perform and explain a coherent project with a presentation of both overview and detail, and the timetable for implementation and cost-benefit consequences
- Documenting the work performed in report including visualization
- Reporting on group work and the cooperation
Principal Content : The project is based on INF-2 and may further be based on FUA and LES.
Presentation and application of project phases, with particular emphasis on programming phase, proposal phase and project phase.
Time planning.
Methods for innovation in problem solving and cost-benefit assessments.
Teaching method : Project work is carried out in groups.
The project work is presented.
The preliminary formulation of the problem starts at the beginning of the semester. Problem Definition, timeplan and plan for submission must be approved prior to the three-week period in which the project is carried out.
Recommended group size of max 4 persons.
Required prequisites : The course INF-2 must be tested prior to the exam in INF-PRO

Remarks : Project processing in relation to content bullets is individually assessed depending on the nature of tasks and scope with emphasis on the project method.

- Students are invited to find projects abroad.
- Summary in English is mandatory for all projects.
