Objective : The engineering traineeship period must give the student knowledge of general building and civil engineering work especially related to
- planning.
- completion of engineering solutions using technical knowledge.
- the phase progress of building subjects.
- control, running and upkeep of technical systems.
- attendance at management and co-operation meetings.

The students who have fully met the course objectives in the final examination are capable of:
• Explaining the internship company’s organizational structure
• Explaining their own work in relation to the engineering projecting and construction phase cycle
• Reflecting on the internship’s content and management
• Reporting on the internship’s content and management
Principal Content : The traineeship must involve general civil engineering subjects within planning, consulting, executing, working or supervising engineering.
The trainee must acquire knowledge of different and relevant engineering fields at the place of practice.
Teaching method : Take part in general engineering works by instructions from the place of practice.
The Copenhagen University College of Engineering must follow up by visits at the national places of practice.
Required prequisites : The student must have attempted
TEM-B2 and TEM-A2
The place of practice has to be approved by the Academic Board.
It is assumed that the student is active in finding a place of practice.

Remarks : Type of examination:
Presentation and discussion of the draft report of internship for the panel of professors and students at the midterm review at the University Engineering College.
Delivery of final internship report and interview.
The report is assessed also for spelling and writing ability as well as the report"s structure
