Objective : The aim is to give students a basic knowledge of electrotecnic, the electronic components, circuit models and simple application. Furthermore the objective is to introduce the basic concepts of induction motors.
Principal Content : DC-circuits: Ohms law, Power, Resistors in Parallel and in Series, Kirchhoffs laws, Superposition, Thevenin Eguivalent Mesh-current- and NodeVoltage metods, Delta -toWye transformation. AC-circuits: Sinusoidal Steady-State analysis. Power calculations. All the laws from the DC-circuits but in the Phasor domain. Balanced Three-phase circuit: Analysis of the Wye to Wye an Wye-to Delta circuit. Power calculations an Measuring of Average Power in Three-Phase Circuits. Induction, Faradays Law, the AC-generator.
Teaching method : Lectures, exercises an problem solving. Lab work is 20% of the course.
