| Objective : | Fundamental knowledge within polymers and there manufacture, enough to qualify the students to continue on the plast-courses. Fundamental knowledge within assembling, welding etc and forming of solid metalls so the student can suggest the nessesary processes, needed to manufacture a given item. | ||
| Principal Content : | Polymers (thermo- hardening and composites) Manufactoring methods such as injection moulding, pressing, extruding, blow-forming and rotation moulding. Welding, soldering and glueing. Heading warm and cold forming of metalls, ekstruding. Rolling. Powder metallurgy (PM) | ||
| Teaching method : | Class-based teaching, industrial visits, laboratory trails. The latter in small groups. | ||
