Objective : | The objective of the study module is to enable the student: To analyse and design classical digital controllers to continuous processes. To apply state-space variable method to describe the dynamic systems. To investigate the stability of digital control systems. To design advanced digital controllers, like pole-placement controllers for industrial processes. Apply MATLAB and SIMULINK for simulation and analysis of digital control systems. |

Principal Content : | Sampled data systems Frequency analysis of the sampled data systems Analysis and design of the digital PID controller State-space description of dynamical systems Controllability and observability Stability of discrete control systems Pole-placement control Reference input control Estimator design Using MATLAB and SIMULINK in design process MATLAB and SIMULINK are used as simulation tools with the goal of supporting the learning process. |
