| Principal Content : | Baseband transmission, Detection of information buried in AWGN, Probability of error, Matched filters, Intersymbol interference, Shaping of signals, Channel capacity, Channel coding, Modern forms of error correction coding, Link Budgets. System tradeoffs. | ||
| Teaching method : | Class teaching with active participation by the students. The teaching is given as a combination of daily lectures and problem solving in class. Some of the items in the curriculum will be illustrated by using demo-programs. | ||
| Required prequisites : | Documented knowledge corresponding to DSM3 or DSM4. | ||
