| Objective : | The student must gain the basic skills in the solution of problems related to traffic planning, design and implementation of public constructions, including road systems and urban water supply and drainage systems | ||
| Principal Content : | Traffic planing (20%): Legislations for roads Traffic techniques Traffic and environmental impact Traffic control Highway engineering (30%): Geometric design Soil engineering Roadside equipment CAD-methods Sanitary systems (30%) Water consumption Urban water supply Urban drainage system for waste water and storm water. Surveying (20%) Geometric leveling,measurements of angles with theodolite measurements of points in the plan, surveying by total station system. | ||
| Teaching method : | Lectures, theory and methodteaching, assignments, course projects and homework. Course projects are made in teams consisting of two students. | ||

| Remarks : | "The course will be evaluated by two tests. Test one comprises the areas of traffic and town planning, road building and technical sanitation. Form: Coursework and discussion. Evaluation is on the basis of coursework and discussion of this in connection with the academic content of the course. Result: 13 scale. Test two comprises landsurveying. Form: See test one Result: Pass/fail. | ||
