Principal Content : | We expect to schedule approximately 60 hours for teaching and supervision to make the stay worth while for the students and at the same time leave some time for cultural arrangements. We expect the students to put in the same number of hours as homework (60 hours). The course plan reflects the availability of the teachers during our summer holidays. Our possibility to ac-cept changes is very limited. Our pedagogical approach is Problem Based Learning. Therefor a lot of hours have been assigned to project work. The first part of the course has a written test in satellite systems, modulation and coding. This test will count for 50% when marking. The second part of the course has a test consisting of handing in of produced program code and an oral pres-entation. Each student must give a presentation lasting 10 minutes on a subject from the project. The mem-bers of the group must cover different subjects. The professors might ask questions. This test counts for an-other 50%. Marking will be on a scale from 0 to 100. |
