Principal Content : | Developing XHTML Mobile Profile systems including: - Detecting Client Capabilities - Detecting Client Preferences - Generating Client Specific Replies - Use of the WAP Push Technology The SMS technology, and how to use it in a Client Server system. Programming Mobile Clients with Java (J2ME) Programming Bluetooth via Java (J2ME) Location Aware Mobile Systems An introduction to M2M Systems, interpreted as: - Mobile to Machine - Machine to Mobile - Machine to Machine |

Required prequisites : | Documented knowledge corresponding to CSP3, DBS3B and NET4 For exchange students the minimum prerequisites are: • Java (including experience with thread and socket programming) • Databases and SQL • The network protocols TCP, UDP and HTTP • (X)HTML and CSS • Experience with at least one server side Web Technology (the course uses Sevlets and JSP. |
