Objective : The aim of the course is to enable the student to participate in simple Danish conversation, to provide af basic understandig of Danish culture and to ease the way into living in Copenhagen and its surroundings. Fellow Danish students will contribute to this introduction.
Principal Content : The language part of the course is focused on oral communication:
To enable the student to comprehend and actively participate in colloquial language situations; build a basic vocabulary and work with the problems of pronunciation.
To develop reading skills to make the student able to read basic written information.
To give a grammatical introduction to the basic structures of creating sentences in Danish; build a foundation for further, more advanced work with Danish language
Teaching method : During the course the students will be working with: easy-readers; different oral and grammatical exercises; dialogue; advertisements and role-plays.
Homework is required.
External examiner : Internal
Marking : Passed/Not passed
Remarks : The student will receive a certificate if class is attended regularly and the final exam is passed. The course is a 4 lectures course over 3 weeks.
