Objective : To introduce students to the legal foundation, and enable the student to understand and apply the most important rules of law of the business community. Both national and international perspectives will be covered.
Principal Content : Law and sources of law, including EUlaw, the constitution and the legislation process. The function of courts emphasizing the course of civil actions and enforcement. Agreement and purchase including the most important provisions in the Agreement Act, the Sale of Goods Act and the Purchase on Credit Act. Debts and demands for payment, security, mortgage and bail. Registration, practical procedure and legal effects. The liability Act and insurance agreements. Company law. Suspension of payments, agreements, bankruptey and rescheduling of debts. Financial circumstances between spouses and registered partners, inheritance and regulation of the estate of a deceased person.
Teaching method : Lectures and discussion, groupwork, discussion of actual public cases and possibly an excursion to a court.

Remarks : At least five assignments must be approved before the examination. At the examination the students are allowed to bring Collected Danish Laws (Lovsamling). Students who have passed PJURER and PAEJURare not allowed to take this course.
