Objective : To give the student an insight in organisational and management challenges when dealing with human resources supplemented with an introduction to Quality Management and to JIT principles. Understanding of basic organisational theories and their relations to the manufacturing environment. To give an understanding af how to apply the principles in continous development of a modern factory with people involvement throughout the company. Also the technics of basic Quality Management is provided.
Principal Content : Organisational structures, culture and processes. Just-in-time principles and basic Quality mangement system (according to ISO 9000 series).
Teaching method : Lectures, discussions, reports on selected subjects, practical exercise with kan-ban cards, visits to factories - and homework.
Required prequisites : None.
Recommended prerequisites : MAN1, MAN2, TVP1 and TVP2 passed.

Remarks : Three compulsory exercises must be passed. All aids allowed by preparation.
