Objective : | The objective of the final year project is to give the students the opportunity to work on a task which resembles, as far as possible, a typical export engineering problem formulation, and which integrates the technical, economics, marketing and language subject components. | ||
Principal Content : | Defined by a concrete project, but must be chosen and formulated with respect to interdisciplinarity and the intentions of the principal objectives. Interdisciplinarity is particularly important for export engineers, since a special feature of their programme is a command of technical, business and language subject areas. | ||
Teaching method : | The project must be carried out in cooperation with a company. A project adviser from the College of Engineering and an adviser from the company concerned is linked to each project. The project adviser must give final authorization for the project, which should be appropriate in terms of use and management of time, degree of difficulty and the possibility of grading. The latter must include the objectives which are to be taken into consideration at the final meeting of all the examiners. The project must be carried out as a piece of individual, not group, work, and be written in English. | ||
