Objective : | The construction process is characterized with unforeseen happenings, therefore the student must acquire knowledge about and an understanding of the planning processes by project management and construction management. The student must gain the ability to solve ordinary tasks in relation to project and construction management and to contribute to the process of cooperation and conflict solving. The student that meet the objectives of the course, is at the final exam capable of: • Use the building owner"s requirements in the ‘IKT-bekendtgørelse’ which relate to the construction process from tender to hand-over. • Describe the planning processes of project management and construction management. • Use facility Management systems i single blocks and in organisations with many blocks • Use Quality Assessment in the construction phase • Report and reflect over the completed course project • Report the group work and the cooperation |

Construction logistics: • Units and unit lists • Plans for the construction site, deliveries and renunciations Management of Health and Safety at work. Building owner"s requirements to digital hand-over. Completion and rectification of defects. Facility management. Quality Assessment in the construction phase |

Teaching method : | Presentations and assignments. Students presentations and discussions. Individual Learning External professionals. Course Projects are carried out in groups of 3 - 4 students. Decision on the course project is decided upon by the professors after a proposal from the students |
