| Hovedindhold : | The project includes concept development, problem solving, function description, materials selection, brainstorming, and technical drawings, together with design and safety calculations. Elements of engineering statics, including friction. Centroids and moments of inertia. Vector and matrix algebra. Application of differentiation and integration to engineering problems. Lengths, areas and volumes of geometrical entities, including solids of revolution. | ||
| Undervisningsform : | Introductory lectures in mathematics and engineering statics. Project work in small groups, including computer simulations, laboratory exercises, use of internet search engines and case studies. |
