| Objective : | To provide students with insight in Corporate Social Innovation. Learning objectives: a student who has fully met the objectives of the course will be able to understand the corporate interest in focusing on meeting challenges within the environmental and social area. a student who has fully met the objectives of the course will be able to balance the social and environmental initiatives with a business perspective. |

| Principal Content : | The notion of innovation, Creativity as a working tool, Sustainability, CSR, BOP, CSI, the triple bottom line, Business Model Innovation, Climate changes. | ||
| Teaching method : | Class-lectures, interaction with practitioners, project based on challenges from a company context combined with a Tanzanian environment. | ||

| Recommended prerequisites : | An insight into marketing and micro economics will be beneficial. One year of university studies completed. Interest in social / environmental challenges. | ||
