Objective : The student must, by carrying out the final project, acquire knowledge and skills in project methods, in order to solve project assignments in accordance with the main objects of the study program.

The student who has fully met the course objective, can in the final exam:
- Perform and explain a project containing several phases and with a gradually higher detail
- Develop, analyze and justify the choice of solutions
- Reflect on and assess the final project and its elements of innovation
- Explain the final project’s documentation
- Explain the planning and implementation of own work in the final project
- Personal and interpersonal skills: Continued use of previous teaching methods, documentation for external and internal collaboration, agenda, minutes.

Formulation of problems which have to be solved in the project..
Usually this phase can be transferred from the DIP-A, unless this foundation is insufficient or if a new subject is chosen.

The organisation and structuring of the project, timing and extent of the assignment.

Personal and interpersonal skills: Continued use of previous teaching methods, responsibility and interdependence. To be reported in a "proces document"

Teaching method : Projects are carried out by individuals or in groups, matching the actual size of the project.
Groups of 2 or 3 persons are recommended.
Drawings, calculations and text, relating to the chosen phases usual ways of communication and targeting the client.
Project documentation is prepared, including project task, timeplans, back ground information and communication during projecting period.
The project is presented.
Required prequisites : To start the final project the student must have followed and attempted DIP-A.
A minimum of 20 ECTS must be passed before starting DIP-B
Type of examination : Oral examination based on a project
External examiner : External
Marking : 7 step scale
Remarks : Project work and interview. Project processing in relation to the content description will be assessed individually depending on the nature of tasks and extent and according to the course objectives. Also the task systematics and communication is evaluated.
