| Hovedindhold : | The contents of the course are subject to change, depending on the background and interests of the participants. In the present semester, It will contain the following topics: - Ordinary differential equations: Theory, modelling as well as analytical and numerical solutions. - Partial differential equations: Theory, modelling as well as analytical and numerical solutions. The theoretical results of the course are illustrated by practical examples. |

| Undervisningsform : | The teaching is based on "learning by doing". There will be introductory and summing up lectures. Project work in small groups includes tutorial exercises, assignments, computer simulations, use of internet search engines and case studies. | ||
| Krævede forudsætninger : | Applied Mathematics 1 (ME-MAT1) or equivalent. | ||
