Objective : | The objectives of GamePhysics are: To give students understanding and experience in building mathematical models as a basis for implementing simulations of physics systems in a graphical computer environment. |

Principal Content : | Geometric objects: point, line, circle, ellipsis etc. Vector and matrix algebra. Coordinate systems and coordinate system transformations. Transformations in 2D and 3D: Translation, rotation, reflection, scaling etc. Animation and modeling time. Modeling physical systems: Newton’s laws, forces, gravity, collision detection, collision handling. All of the above is modeled and implemented in a programming environment. |

Teaching method : | Combination of sessions with lectures and students solving problems. Students will use a programming environment such as NetBeans. |

Remarks : | Oral examination based on exercises given during the course. 7 step scale 3 steps of this marking scale are described as follows: 12 is given for the excellent presentation, which completely fulfills the course goals, with no or very few errors of marginal importance. 7 is given for the average presentation, which fulfills the course goals, with some errors in the presentation. 02 is given for the minimum acceptable presentation, which fulfills the course goals. |
