A general knowledge of how the CAD/CAM system works in the modeling process of a part/design. Use the different design tools within the CAD-system – extrude, revolved, sweep intersect etc. Understand the way the parametric CAD model works. Create models for Numerical Control (CNC) and test the NC-code on a 3-axes CNC-machine. Create advanced 3D-models (advanced surface design). Interface to other CAD/CAM system, Robot, Finite-Element etc. Develope application in the CAD-system for different calculations – shaft calculations, bolt calculations etc with standard programming tools – c-program or pascal. | ||
